Conxita Tarruell (Sabadell, 1957), a writer and teacher, experiences and feels the fact of travelling as a power that awakens and transforms the spirit. Her passion to learn about the world and to share her experiences has led her to write nine travel books as a tool of personal growth. She gives lectures, seminars, and writing courses with the specific aim of helping people to discover the pleasures of writing as a way of connecting with the universe of emotions and of flowing in creativity. She has worked with therapists who have contributed and helped her in her practice so that it can reach people who are interested in inner writing.
In 2018, she was awarded the ninth Armengol Miro Prize of the Escola Cristiana de Catalunya Foundation, sponsored by BAULA, for her book Conectem l’escriptura amb les emocions, which presents the innovation of writing courses as an inner journey. Through writing, it offers the possibility of entering the inner world. By transforming our attitude, we can influence the reality around us wisely and serenely.
She is a member of the Associació d'Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan language Writers).
