Josefina Caball i Guerrero (Manresa, 1958) is a translator with a diploma and degree in Translation and Interpretation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

She combines her work as a translator with teaching and, since 1998, has worked as an associate lecturer in the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation at the UAB. She is a member of the Study Group for Translation of Contemporary Catalan (GETCC) and also of the editorial board of Quaderns, a publication about translation.

She has translated more than 150 books, mostly from English into Catalan, and began her career with books for children and young people by such authors as Charles Dickens, Enid Blyton, Charles and Mary Lamb, Geraldine McCaughrean, and Terry Deary. She has also translated novels for adults by such well-known authors as Don Delillo, Richard Yates, and Tom Sharpe, as well as works in other genres, among them essays and autobiographies.

She is a member of the Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan Language Writers).
