Eduard Creus (Igualada, Anoia, 1960) is a writer with a diploma in Foreign Trade and Marketing.
Interested in writing from an early age, he began to publish his first stories in the fanzines La Brecha and DDA in the mid-1980s. In 2003 he published his first novel, L'últim Samurai and, in 2011, his study popularising the Igualada swimming club, Aigualits, sí. 75 anys del Club Natació Igualada appeared. In 2013, he was awarded First Prize at the Festival of Legends of Catalonia, and he has also been a finalist in several literary competitions. In 2016 he published the short story collection Llàgrimes de tardor.
He writes on a regular basis for the local publications La Veu de l'Anoia and Infoanoia, and presented and directed (2014-2015) the literary programme "Belles Lletres" on Ràdio Igualada. He has also written for the literary magazines La Lluna en un cove and Doll de Tinta.
Eduard Creus is a member of Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan Language Writers).
