Ramon Pastor Quirant was born in Sant Vicent del Raspeig (Alacant) 1953. He has an Arts degree and has been teaching for 32 years, first as a primary school teacher and, since 1984, as a Catalan Language and Literature teacher in secondary schools. This was also the year he began to write.

His work covers a wide range of genres, including lyrical and children's poetry, theatre, essay and different kinds of fiction (science fiction, historical novels, humour, thrillers, and books for adolescents and young children …).
