Miracle Sala i Farré (Santa Maria d’Oló, Moianès, 1967), a teacher and writer, lives in Girona. With a degree in Classical Philology and master’s degrees in European Literature and also in Teaching Catalan and Spanish as Second Languages, she has been a secondary school teacher for twenty-five years in addition to her engagement in a wide range of cultural initiatives, including Corpus Linguistics, literary discussion groups, reading clubs, training workshops, mini-story festivals, etcetera.
She has published stories in collective volumes, newspapers, magazines and literary websites and has been a finalist or winner in many short story competitions, the most significant award so far being the Second Rural World Prize for the Short Story for her collection La força de les paraules (Cossetània, 2017).
Miracle Sala is a member of Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan Language Writers).
