Carles Pellicer Rodríguez, who was born in Girona in 1980 and currently resides in Banyoles, studied as an administrative technical specialist in Banyoles, and Communications and Public Relations in Girona. After some years working as an accountant, he decided in 2015 to set out on the adventure of writing fiction. Indeed, writing is a hobby that had previously led to his working with the local media. 

Most of the stories of his first novel are set in Girona. Titled Mira què fa el veí and self-published in 2022, this work describes the experiences of a very odd community of residents in the Devesa neighbourhood.

He is a member of the Associació d’Escriptors en Llengua Catalana (AELC – Association of Catalan language Writers).
